Rumi is a plant-based ruminant feed made by anaerobic fermentation with Win Men’s probiotic cocktail. In the process, lactic acid bacteria in Win Men’s probiotic cocktail will convert sugars to organic acids such as lactic acids. These organic acids lower the pH and break down crude fibre, protein and carbohydrate into smaller fragments that are easily digested and absorbed by ruminants. The low pH condition and antimicrobial peptides produced by lactic acid bacteria inhibit the activity of fungi and spoilage bacteria, thus prolonging the storage time. In addition, lactic acid bacteria can also remove malodour and toxins as well as give a sweet-sour taste and soft-textured feed to ruminants. Rumi 300 is for cattle, and Rumi 700 is for goats.
